He says it is one of the best alterations in Belvidere. He will leave a written confirmation of the BHOA approval of the alteration at the BHOA office reception in case Ricardo requires one. We have been managing holiday homes in Knysna for fifteen years &, in this time, have had dealings with many construction companies. On first realising the scope of work that was necessary at Thella Crescent to resolve numerous structural water ingression issues, and based on previous experience, we did feel somewhat daunted & overwhelmed. How grateful we now are that 40 Degrees accepted the challenge. From our first meeting at the house to the final site meeting today, 40 Degrees has professionally met every promise & commitment. We cannot remember ever being associated with a building exercise, in both our professional & domestic lives, when a completion horizon set six weeks earlier was met to the day - with no short cuts. This despite the interruptions of inclement weather. Notwithstanding the professionalism of Deon we would also like to thank you for your personal interest in the project. And for identifying & proffering solutions to issues not raised in the original engineers report - channelling gutter water undergound, underneath the garden walls to the verges for example . But what has impressed us most has been the overt commitment to customer service exhibited by every single person we have dealt with at 40 Degrees - from yourself, through your site management team to your office staff. Deon's extensive modifications to the garden gate following a neighbour's comments on rattling exemplifies this approach. At the risk of sounding patronising it really has been very agreeable dealing with you all. We know times are tough for everyone in the industry right now & our good wishes are with you. We found all aspects of dealing with Forty Degrees exemplary. We were initially impressed with their preparation of the site to ensure that damage and mess and disturbance to the neighboring area was minimized. The quality of their work proved to be excellent and so was their project management. Tommy has a new development just outside Knysna at Kanonkop. He is building 6 double story houses right next to the Montessourie school. Absolutely lovely. I wish you guys could see the building site. First the entrance to the estate was built- then the bricked driveway,beautiful, then the dam in front of the first house, then the first house, paint tile etc then they move onto the next house. All the sand and stuff is in separately marked bins.I have never seen such a tidy development! Your shoes don't even get dirty!!!!! Bob and Tanya White Knysna "Greg Hawley has been known to me/us over the last 4years. Laterly he has done a huge alteration at our property in Knysna. This was done at lightning speed, with no input from ouselves. He liased with all builders, plumbers, electricians, painters, etc and, in our opinion, did a marvellous job-quickly and to a high standard. He purchased all fittings for floors, lights, bathrooms, outside paviers, and organised gardners, irrigation, electricity-all that stuff! The finished result is much admired and commented on, by passers-by, neighbours and friends. He has access to this house, so may show you round if you so wish. As an ongoing project I am builing more houses in Knysna, and he is heavily involved with Municipality, planners, architects, etc on our behalf. We trust him with all the finances which are well documented, keeping us in financial touch at very regular intervals. His personal charges are reasonable and in keeping with his effort, professionalism and results. He is very pleasant to deal with, available at all times, and is very creative, intrducing several design features on our properties.
